WINDSOR HOUSING AUTHORITY COVID-19
In light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, and the fact that the seasonal influenza (flu) virus is also widespread, we are taking proactive steps to address a number of business concerns. First and foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace and encourage and/or adopt practices protecting the health of employees, customers, visitors or others. We also want to ensure the continuity of business operations during this pandemic.
Windsor Housing Authority will take proactive steps to protect the workplace in the event of an infectious disease outbreak. It is the goal of Windsor Housing Authority during any such time period to strive to operate effectively and ensure that all essential services are continuously provided and that employees are safe within the workplace.
Welcome to the Windsor Housing Authority
The Windsor Housing Authority was created to provide safe, decent and affordable housing to its elderly and disabled citizens. Commissioners serve without compensation and cannot serve on any other Town governmental body, either elected or appointed Board or Commission. The Commissioners, with the assistance of an executive director and staff, operate two distinct programs: the Elderly and Disabled Housing Program, located at Millbrook Village and Shad Run Terrace, and the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program.
